Jessica brings more than a decade of elementary education experience to her role as an Elementary Education Instructor and Education Grants Specialist at Salish Kootenai College. Born and raised on the Flathead Indian Reservation, Jessica has deep roots in the area and a strong commitment to serving the students, families, and communities that have shaped her own journey.

From 2014–2026, Jessica served as a classroom teacher at K. William Harvey Elementary, where she had the privilege of working alongside students, families, and colleagues to support student growth, build meaningful relationships, and inspire a lifelong love of learning.

A proud Salish Kootenai College alum, Jessica earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from SKC. Returning to SKC in this role is especially meaningful to her, allowing her to give back to the institution that played such an important role in her educational journey and to help inspire and prepare the next generation of teachers.

Jessica is passionate about fostering Indigenous education, culture, and ways of knowing in the classroom. She believes that students benefit when their identities, communities, and experiences are valued as an integral part of their education. She is committed to supporting future educators in creating classrooms that are inclusive, culturally responsive, and rooted in meaningful connections to students and their communities.

Community-driven and devoted to lifelong learning, Jessica strives to inspire others to become the best versions of themselves. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, particularly paddle boarding, hiking, and running. She is excited to return to Salish Kootenai College and bring her experience, passion for education, and love for her community to the next generation of educators.
