Teacher Education Mentorship Program (T.E.M.P.) Newsletter (new issue coming soon!)

Welcome Letter from TEMP Program Director, Kathie Maiers

TEMP is a unique program in the Division of Education. It is a partnership between the DOE and local area K-12 teachers. Each month during the academic year, education professionals come to SKC to present on topics relevant to education students. Past presenters have included topics such as technology in elementary classrooms, soft-skill development, and school safety. TEMP presentations benefit all involved, validating the expertise of professionals, building relationships between SKC and local schools, and offering valuable insights for students as they build their teaching skill sets- from teachers “in the trenches”.
